YCFP7 Hot Aerosol Fire Extinguisher Device(Square)

The YCFP7 Square Hot Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Device provides localized fire suppression for electrical cabinets and other relatively enclosed equipment. With extinguishing agent quantities from 10 g to 144 g, the series protects volumes ranging from 0.1 m³ to 1.5 m³.

Its compact square housing supports adhesive or screw-fixed installation, making it suitable for power distribution cabinets, communication cabinets, battery swap cabinets and equipment compartments.

Product Details

Key Features

  • Six agent quantities from 10 g to 144 g
  • Protected volume from 0.1 m³ to 1.5 m³
  • Pressureless agent storage
  • No routine maintenance required
  • Thermal or electrical activation options
  • Compact iron or plastic housing
  • Adhesive mounting with optional screw reinforcement
  • Operating temperature from -50°C to +90°C
  • Up to 10 years of service life
  • Designed for relatively enclosed equipment spaces

Working Principle

When the device receives an electrical activation signal or its heat-sensitive wire is triggered by fire, the internal aerosol-generating agent begins an oxidation-reduction reaction. The resulting aerosol and composite cooling agent work together to suppress the fire inside the protected enclosure.

Application Scenarios

Communication cabinets, power distribution cabinets, battery swap cabinets, motor vehicle engine compartments, compressors, and other relatively enclosed small spaces for early-stage fire suppression.

Installation and Commissioning

Installation Requirements for the Thermal Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Device:
1. The installation position is not restricted by height.
2. No other objects are allowed to cover the product.
3. The device should not be installed near air inlets, air outlets, doors, windows, or other openings.
4. The device should not be installed in locations exposed to rain, water splashing, or flooding.

Usage and Operation Precautions

1. Before installation, carefully read the User Manual of the thermal aerosol fire extinguishing device. If there are any questions, please consult the company’s technical personnel in time.
2. Installation and commissioning of the thermal aerosol fire extinguishing device must be carried out by professionally trained personnel.
3. After installation, the thermal aerosol fire extinguishing device must not be moved arbitrarily.
4. In case of fire, on-site personnel must evacuate immediately and close doors and windows as much as possible during evacuation.
5. After the expiration of the service life, the user shall contact the supplier for replacement and recycling.
6. After discharge, if the device needs to be removed within a short period, high-temperature protective gloves must be worn to avoid burns.
7. Disassembly is strictly prohibited, whether the device is within or beyond its service life, to prevent accidents.
8. When installed inside a high-voltage electrical cabinet, the thermal aerosol fire extinguishing device must maintain a safe clearance from live electrical parts.
